HYPERBOREA Ready Reference Sheets
Greetings Hyperborea backers,
I hope you all are enjoying your Hyperborea books! Today, at long last, we have completed the Hyperborea Ready Reference Sheets, now free for download at DriveThruRPG. These sheets are great for printing and stapling together, an excellent resource for your campaign. Tables, charts, lists, abbreviated rules and procedures -- and more!
Also, we are preparing to launch a 3-week KS campaign for the new Hyperborea Map, featuring the brilliant cartography of Mr. Glynn Seal. These maps will be offered in high-quality, glossy poster format, and thick, durable canvas. If you are interested, you can sign up to be notified by checking out this preview link! Hyperborea 3E Kickstarter Fulfilled

Greetings fellow RPG enthusiasts,
Last week, we completed the fulfillment of the HYPERBOREA 3E Kickstarter, sending out the last of the long-awaited leatherette books to Kickstarter and Backerkit supporters. We then went on to the fulfillment of web orders that came after the crowdfunding campaign. It was a long slog due to supply chain issues, but I am glad to see the project finally completed. For many of you, it was completed several months ago, but that was because the standard edition books were completed by the printer much sooner than the leatherette editions.
Important Notes:
For many of you (particularly international customers), the leatherette books are still in transit. If you did not receive tracking information, please look through the junk/spam folders of your email program. The email with your tracking information was sent by stamps.com.
For others, your package has been sent back to me for one reason or another. I have been in touch with such customers, but some have not answered my emails.
And for a tiny segment of our supporters, we have never heard from you at all since the project funded. You supported the campaign but never provided your real name, address, or paid your shipping fees. I have and will continue to reach out to such folks. I hope you are well.
So, what is next?
We will be putting together a Ready Reference document that compiles some of the most useful tables and charts in the game. Soon I'll be reaching out to community members at our discord server and our official forums to find out which tables and charts are deemed the most useful for such a document. We'll then put it up on DriveThruRPG as a free download.
After that, we've got three excellent new adventure modules planned for 2023, including The Oblation Slab of the Hepatomancer, The Vanishing Isles of the Summer King, and The Thousand Eyes of Thaumagorga. Also in the works is a city supplement of The City-State of Khromarium. In the coming weeks I will provide more info on these, and I'll share some of the incredible art that has rolled in for the adventures thus far.
Lastly, I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding throughout the fulfillment of this Kickstarter, which represents my first late project. As a small publisher, it's crushing to hear from your print partner that your project has been put on indefinite hold after you've taken preorders from customers and have already paid the print partner in full. And then, when scrambling to find alternatives, you find that delays would be even greater if you switched. Many lessons were learned as the print publishing landscape -- with which I thought I was intimately familiar -- suddenly changed after my 12 years of experience in the business (as publisher). Still, I refused to cut corners with the quality and durability of the books. When we were told that the paper we'd been quoted for would no longer be an option, and that we'd have to downgrade to lower quality (saving money) or upgrade to higher quality (spending more), there really was only one option in my mind. So, I hope that you folks are satisfied with the quality and content of the books. I have received wonderful feedback since we first started shipping in July, and it's great to hear about the campaigns being played by a variety of gamers from around the globe, from so many different backgrounds, yet similar in our mutual love for tabletop gaming. It's truly humbling and gratifying to know the game is enjoyed, and for that I thank you -- for all your tales of glory and defeat in the hoary wastes of Hyperborea. I appreciate you each and all!

HYPERBOREA 3E Leatherette Shipping Update

By now, many of you from around the globe have begun to receive the long-awaited HYPERBOREA 3E leatherette books. We are about 33% through shipping these out, so please be patient as we continue to tackle fulfillment. Please note that when we ship, a label is generated using Stamps.com. A tracking number is then emailed to you, but in many cases, this message goes to a junk/spam folder, so please be aware of this.
I am loving seeing all the posts on social media. If you post a pic of your new books (standard or leatherette), please tag me in the post!

HYPERBOREA 3E Leatherette Update

Friends,
I just received notification that the HYPERBOREA 3E special edition leatherette books are now on a truck in Michigan, en route to New Hampshire. When they arrive, we will begin processing orders right away. I expect this process to take place throughout the remainder of October and well into November, so please be patient as we start sending these out, one batch at a time. Many thanks!

Greetings HYPERBOREA 3E supporters,
This update pertains to the status of the signed-and-numbered, foil-stamped, leatherette versions of the HYPERBOREA 3E RPG.
We received an update from our printer just today, informing us that the leatherette material was indeed received on September 14. They are now wrapping the books and foil-stamping, and their ship date to send to North Wind Adventures is September 26. This means we are no longer in limbo and should have the books by the first week of October. From there we'll go straight into signing, numbering, and shipping to you. I suspect the process to ship will take 4-6 weeks. Shipping to all customers whose orders include the leatherettes will take place throughout October and into November.
